Sample file to bulk upload lookup values in Oracle Fusion HCM

As we know, we can create lookup values easily in HCM from the UI. However, if you want to load data in bulk into a lookup, follow these steps:

• Create a sample .dat file with any name.

• Navigate to Navigator > Tools > File Import and Export.

Below is the sample file content:

Once the file is imported, navigate to Setup and Maintenance > Search for "Manage Common Lookups" > Search for your lookup.

In the search results section, select Actions > Import.

Here, you will see three fields: Account, Lookup Type File, and Lookup Code File.

Ignore Lookup Type File. Enter the Account and Lookup Code File values you used while importing the file in Tools.

Click on Upload! Congrats.
